1.2M Heavy Duty Metal Chain Dog Lead – Anti-Chew Pet Leash

1.2m Metal Chain Dog Lead

A chain lead for dogs that chew through fabric and rope leads. The chain itself cannot be chewed through, which is the entire reason to own one.

Specification

• Chain length 120cm, roughly 4 feet
• Chain gauge 2mm, rated by the manufacturer for dogs under 5kg
• Chrome plated, welded links that will not rust or fray the way a rope lead does
• PU leather handle
• Bolt snap swivel hook that clips to a collar or harness

Please check the weight rating before you buy

This is a light 2mm chain. The manufacturer rates it for dogs under 5kg, so it suits puppies and small breeds who chew their leads rather than a strong adult dog. If you have a larger dog that chews, this is not the right lead, and we would rather say so now than take the order.

Chain leads solve chewing. They do not solve pulling, and a chain is less forgiving on your hands than webbing if a dog lunges. If pulling is the real problem, our guide on how to stop a dog pulling on the lead is the place to start.

Allow 1 to 2cm either way on the measurement, as these are measured by hand.
