Dog Soccer Ball Toy
A tough PVC ball for fetch and outdoor play, with a textured surface that works the teeth and gums while your dog carries and chews it.
Specification
- PVC construction
- Available in small and medium
- For outdoor throwing, fetch and chase
- Textured surface for teeth cleaning during chewing
Choosing the right size
Size matters more with balls than with any other toy. A ball that is too small is a choking risk, particularly with larger dogs who can get it to the back of the mouth. As a rule, pick a ball your dog clearly cannot fit fully behind the teeth.
If you have a large breed, take the medium. If you are between the two, size up.
Using it safely
- Supervise play, as you would with any chew toy
- Check the ball regularly and bin it once it splits or pieces come away
- No toy is indestructible. A determined power chewer will eventually get through PVC, so this is a fetch toy rather than something to leave down all day
Chewing on a textured surface helps with plaque, but it is not a replacement for brushing or for a dental check at the vet.
